Fig Jam (low sugar)

5 1/4 C prepared fruit (frozen, defrosted and mashed with potato masher)

1/3 C lemon juice

1/2 C water

1 box SureJell pectin or 6 T Ball’s pectin in a jar

1/2 t butter/margarine

4 C sugar


Follow cooking and canning instructions in the SureJell or the Ball pectin container.

Makes 9 x 8 oz jars.
